Terms of engagement
These terms govern access to serversyncservice.digital and the professional audit services offered by Server Sync Service.
Acceptance
By browsing this website or commissioning an engagement, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or request fieldwork. A signed letter of engagement prevails over website summaries where the two differ.
Services described
Pages describing audits for fintech, fees, and methods are informational. They do not constitute an offer until both parties sign a letter of engagement stating perimeter, fees, and deliverables.
Intellectual property
Website copy, layout, and downloadable materials remain the property of Server Sync Service unless otherwise stated. Findings packs delivered under an engagement are licensed to the client for internal governance and regulatory or partner disclosure as agreed in writing. You may not republish our working papers as your own audit product.
Client responsibilities
You must provide accurate perimeter information, timely access to evidence, and truthful responses during interviews. Delays in the evidence room may extend timelines and adjust fees as set out in the letter of engagement.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Taiwan, Server Sync Service is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use. For paid engagements, liability is limited to the fees paid for that engagement unless a different cap is stated in the letter of engagement. We do not guarantee regulatory approval, licence grant, or partner acceptance of your firm.
Confidentiality
Both parties must protect non-public information obtained during an engagement. Exceptions include disclosures required by law or regulator, or information already public through no fault of the receiving party.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from the website or from engagements booked through it are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts in Taiwan have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
Changes
We may update these terms on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised text for website use. Active engagements follow the letter of engagement then in force.
